Finding Water Project is an initiative by Brodie Vera Wood and Camille Gierck.

Like most creative projects, Brodie and Camille's accidentally came to fruition when Camille started writing daily entries for Writer's Victoria's flash fiction competition. From there, Brodie matched Camille's short stories with illustrations, realising a collective intent, Finding Water Zine. 

After the competition ended, and back-and-forth conversations ensued, both decided to soft launch Finding Water Zine. 

Weeks passed, and Brodie and Camille began talking about ways to include their peers in their zine collaboration. Instead, an initiative was created, Finding Water Project.

The project's intent: to showcase and collaborate with like-minded and subversive artists; to reach people in the most accessible way possible; to challenge ourselves and grow.

Finding Water Project acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, the lands and waters upon where we produce our work and sell our products. Sovereignty was never ceded. We must, can and will do better.
